                            வணக்கம்.தமிழ் இணையதள நண்பர்கள் வலைப்பக்கத்திற்கு அனைவரையும் இனிதே வரவேற்கிறோம். சத்தி புத்தக கண்காட்சி வருகிற 2014அக்டோபர் 15ஆம் தேதி முதல் 19 ஆம் தேதிகளில் காலை 10.00 மணி முதல் இரவு 9.00மணி வரை  ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் சத்தியமங்கலம், அத்தாணி ரோட்டிலுள்ள கொங்கு திருமண மண்டபம் வளாகத்தில் ,அரங்கு நிறைந்த புத்தக திருவிழாவாக நடைபெற உள்ளது.
                 அது சமயம் லோகு ஹெவி டிரைவிங் ஸ்கூல்-சத்தியமங்கலம்  மற்றும் நுகர்வோர் பாதுகாப்பு&சாலை பாதுகாப்பு சங்கம் -தமிழ்நாடு இணைந்து  16-10-2014 வியாழக்கிழமை ஒருநாள் நிகழ்வினை நடத்துகின்றன.அன்றைய தினம் 
          
          புத்தக கண்காட்சி மற்றும் விற்பனை அரங்கில் ,
    
             காலை 10.00மணி முதல் 12.00மணி வரை சாலை பாதுகாப்பு- சமூகப் பாதுகாப்பு என்ற தலைப்பில் பள்ளிகளின் குழுவினருக்கு இடையேயான வினாடிவினா போட்டியினை -சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு இயக்கம்-சத்தியமங்கலம் நடத்துகிறது.

       மாலை 3.00 மணி முதல் 4.00மணி வரை  நம் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்கு அதிகம் பயன்படுவது புத்தகங்களா? இணையதளமா? என்றதலைப்பில் புத்தக வாசகர்கள் மற்றும் இணையதள தமிழ் நண்பர்கள்  விவாத நிகழ்ச்சி நடைபெறும்.

கணினி தமிழை வளர்க்க???

மரியாதைக்குரியவர்களே,
                                     வணக்கம். தமிழில் இணையத்தை மற்றும் தமிழை வளர்க்க அனைவரும் முயற்சி செய்ய வேண்டும்.சொற்பெருக்கம் நிறைந்த சொல் வளம் நிறைந்த தமிழை வளர்க்க சபதம் ஏற்போம்.




                    கணினி மொழித் துறையில், உலகின் பல மொழிகள் ஏற்றம் பெற்று வருகின்றன. பல நாடுகளில், கணினி, அலைபேசி மற்றும் மின்னணு சாதனங்களைப் பயன்படுத்த, ஆங்கிலம் தெரிய வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை என்ற நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனால், அந்த நாட்டு மக்கள், தொழில் ரீதியாகவும், கலை ரீதியாகவும் பெரிதும் பயன்பட்டு வருகின்றனர். ஆனால், தமிழன் மட்டும், ஆங்கிலம் படித்தால் மட்டுமே சம்பாதிக்க முடியும் என்ற நிலைக்கு தள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளான். இதற்கு முக்கிய காரணம், கணினி தமிழ் வளராதது தான். இந்தத் துறையில், பொதுவான விசைப் பலகையைக் கூட நம்மால் உருவாக்க முடியவில்லை. இதனால், அரசு கொடுக்கும் இலவச மடிக்கணினிகளும், தமிழ் பொறிக்கப்படாத விசைப் பலகைகளோடு வழங்கப்படும் அவலம் நடக்கிறது. கணினி தமிழின் வளர்ச்சிப் பாதை மற்றும் வேகமாக வளர வேண்டியதன் அவசியம் குறித்து, சென்னை பல்கலையின், முன்னாள் தமிழ்த் துறைத் தலைவரும், தமிழ் மென்பொருள் உற்பத்தியாளருமான தெய்வசுந்தரம், "தினமலர்' நாளிதழுக்கு அளித்த பேட்டி:

மாற்ற முடியாது: இருபது ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன், கணினியில், தமிழில் தட்டச்சு செய்ய முடியாது. "ரோமன்' எழுத்தில் தட்டச்சு செய்து, அதை தமிழில் மாற்றி வந்தோம். இதில், தமிழ் மின் கோப்புகளில் சேர்க்கக் கூடிய பக்கங்கள், மிகக் குறைவாக இருந்தன. பின்னர், கணினியில் நேரடியாக தட்டச்சு செய்யும் எழுத்துருவும், விசைப் பலகையும் உருவாயின. குறைந்த இடம்: கடந்த 1999ல் நடந்த, தமிழ் இணைய மாநாட்டில், இந்த பிரச்னைக்கு தீர்வு ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டது. "டேம், டேப்' என்ற குறியீட்டு தமிழ் எழுத்துருக்களை உருவாக்க, முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. "தமிழ் 99' என்ற, தரப்படுத்தப்பட்ட விசைப் பலகையும் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டது. கணினி நிறுவனங்கள், இந்த தரப்படுத்தப்பட்ட விசைப் பலகையை பின்பற்ற வேண்டும் என, அரசாணையும் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. ஆனால், அரசாணை காகிதத்திலேயே உள்ளது. உலகளவில் ஒருங்குறி (யுனிகோட்) முறை உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. இதனால், பன்மொழி ஆவணங்களை உருவாக்கும் நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால், யுனிகோட் நிறுவனமும், தமிழ் மொழிக்கு, குறைந்த இடத்தையே ஒதுக்கியுள்ளது. இதை தீர்ப்பதற்கு, "டேஷ்' என்ற யுனிகோட் முறை, முன்வைக்கப் பட்டுள்ளது.

மொழி வளராது: தகவல் பரிமாற்றத்தில் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கும், "பிடிஎப்' கோப்பு வகைக்கு மென்பொருள் தயாரிக்கும் அடோப் நிறுவனம், தமிழ் யுனிகோட் எழுத்துருக்களுக்கு ஏற்ற மென்பொருளை இன்னும் அளிக்கவில்லை. இதனால், தமிழ்ப் பதிப்பாளர்கள், பழைய ஆஸ்கி முறையையே பின்பற்றுகின்றனர். கணினி தமிழில், இது தான் நம் வளர்ச்சியாக உள்ளது. ஆனால், ஆங்கிலம், பிரெஞ்சு, ஜெர்மன் போன்ற மொழிகளில், சொற் பிழை திருத்தி, தொடர் பிழை திருத்தி, கணினியே ஆவணங்களை சரிபார்க்கும் நிலை வந்து விட்டது. மேலும், "ஸ்கேன்' செய்யப்பட்ட ஆங்கில ஆவணத்தைப் பதிப்பிக்க வசதி அளிக்கும் ஓ.சி.ஆர்., மென்பொருள்; கணினி முன் பேசினால் தட்டச்சு செய்யும் பேச்சை எழுத்தாக மாற்றும் மென்பொருள்; தட்டச்சு செய்த ஆவணத்தை, பேச்சாக மாற்றும் மென்பொருள்; இயந்திர மொழிபெயர்ப்பு மென்பொருள் ஆகியவற்றை உருவாக்கி விட்டனர். கணினி தமிழில் அடுத்த கட்டத்துக்கு செல்ல வேண்டுமானால், இது போன்ற மென்பொருட்களை உருவாக்க வேண்டும். இல்லையேல், வீட்டில் பேசப்படும் மொழியாக மட்டுமே, தமிழ் இருந்துவிடும்.

மொழியியல் துறை: தமிழ் மொழி அமைப்பை, கணினி புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். தமிழ் இலக்கணத்தை, கணினி மொழியில் ஆய்ந்து அளிக்க வேண்டும். இதையே, கணினி மொழியியல் துறை என, அழைக்கின்றனர். கணினி மொழியியல் துறையின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு ஏற்பவே, தமிழ் மொழி தொழில்நுட்பம் வளரும். அன்றாட பணிகளில், அலைபேசி, கணினி, "ஐபேட்' போன்ற மின்னணு சாதனங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துகிறோம். எதிர்காலத்தில், இவற்றின் பயன்பாடு பெருமளவு அதிகரிக்கும். எனவே, இந்த சாதனங்களில் பயன்படுத்துவதற்கு ஏற்ப, தமிழ் மென்பொருட்களை உருவாக்க வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு தெய்வசுந்தரம் கூறினார். மேலும், ""கணினி தமிழ் எழுத்துரு, விசைப்பலகை என்பதை கடந்து விட்டோம். இனி, அடுத்த கட்டத்துக்கு நகர வேண்டும். இதற்கு, தமிழ் கணினி எழுத்துருவிலும், விசைப் பலகையிலும், பொதுவான ஒன்றை அறிவிக்க வேண்டும். அது, தமிழக அரசின் உறுதியான, கடுமையான சட்டத்தின் மூலமே சாத்தியமாகும்,'' என்றார்.

தமிழை கணினி புரிந்து கொள்ளுமா?

   கணினி தமிழை புரிந்துகொள்ளுமா? இதோ அதற்கான விளக்கம்..
(கணினியின் மொழி இலக்கமொழி என்பதை நினைவில் வைக்கவும்).

               கணினியில் ஆங்கிலம் மட்டுமே இயங்கும் அல்லது கணினி ஆங்கிலத்தை மட்டுமே புரிந்து கொள்ளும். சும்மா உடான்ஸ் விடாதேய்யா என நினைக்கிறீர்களா? பொறுங்கள்.நீங்கள் நினைப்பது சரிதான். அப்படியானால், கணினி தமிழைப் புரிந்து கொள்ளுமா, சற்றுப் பொறுங்கள். கணினி தமிழ் மட்டுமல்ல எந்த மனித மொழியையும் புரிந்து கொள்ளாது. அதற்குப் புரியக் கூடிய ஒரே மொழி இலக்க மொழி (Machine Language) தான். இந்த மொழியில் இரண்டே இரண்டு குறியீடுகள் தான். அவை ஒன்று மற்றும் சுழி (பூஜ்யம்).

ஆனால் நாங்கள் ஆங்கிலத்தில் தானே கணினித் திரையில் பார்க்கிறோம். கட்டளைகள் எல்லாம் ஆங்கிலத்தில் தானே இருக்கின்றன என்று தோன்றுகிறதா? அவை உங்களுக்கு ஆங்கிலத்தில் இருக்கின்றன ஆனால் கணினி அந்த ஒவ்வொரு கட்டளையையும் அது புரிந்துகொள்ளக் கூடிய இலக்க மொழியில் மாற்றப்பட்டு கணினியின் மூளையான செயலகம் (Processor) நிறைவேற்றுகிறது.

கணினி எவ்வாறு செயல்படுகிறது எவ்வாறு இயங்குதளம் தரவுதளம் இயங்குகின்றன என்கிற நுணுக்கங்களுக்குச் செல்லாமல் திரையில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட மொழியில் எழுத்துருவில் தெரிவது எப்படி என்று மட்டும் பார்ப்போம்.
கணினியை நாம் அச்சுத்துறைக்குப் பயன்படுத்தும் பொழுது நாம் விரும்பும்படி தான் ஆங்கில மொழியின் எழுத்துக்களைக் கூட பயன்படுத்திச் சேமிக்க வேண்டும். அதனால் ஒரு கணினி புரிந்து கொள்ளும் படி நாம் ஒவ்வொரு எழுத்தையும் ஒவ்வொரு எண்ணாக மாற்றித்தான் சேமிக்கவேண்டும்.
சரி ஆங்கிலம் தெரிவதே இப்படி இடியாப்பச் சிக்கல் என்றால் வேறு சில மொழிகள் இப்போது நீங்கள் படித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் தமிழ் தெரிவது எப்படி?
ஒரு மொழியை நாம் கணிப்பொறியில் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டுமென்றால் அந்த மொழியின் ஒவ்வொரு எழுத்துக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு எண்ணை நிர்ணயிக்க வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு நிர்ணயிக்கும் முறையை நாம் குறியீட்டு முறை (Character Encoding) என்று அழைக்கிறோம்.  இதற்காகத் தான் இவ்வளவு மெனக்கிட வேண்டி இருக்கிறது.
நாம் இந்த குறியீட்டு முறையை பயன்படுத்தி ஒரு புத்தகத்தின் பக்கங்களை கணிணிக்குள் சேமித்துவிடுகிறோம் என்று வைத்துக்கொள்வோம். பிறகு அதை நாம் கணினி திரையில் பார்க்க விரும்பும் பொழுது, சேமித்த எண்களையெல்லம் கூட்டி, கழித்து எழுத்துக்களாக மாற்றும் வேலையை யாராவது செய்ய வேண்டுமில்லையா? கவலையை விடுங்கள், கணிப்பொறி எழுத்துரு (Fontஎன்ற கோப்புச்செயலியைப் பயன்படுத்தி, ஒவ்வொரு எண்ணுக்கும் என்ன எழுத்து வடிவம் என்பதை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து பிரதியிட்டுவிடும்.
ஆங்கில மொழிக்கு, தகவல் பரிமாற்றத்துக்கான அமெரிக்க நியமக் குறியீட்டு முறை சுருக்கமாக ஆஸ்கி - ASCII (American Standard Code For Information Interchange) அல்லது அதன் அடிப்படையில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட விண்டோஸ் அமெரிக்க தேசியத் தரநிர்ணயக் கழக முறை சுருக்கமாக ஆன்ஸி - Windows ANSI (American National Standards Institute) என்ற குறியீட்டு முறையை பயன்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.
தமிழில் ஒவ்வொரு மென்பொருள் எழுத்துருவும் பற்பல தன்னார்வலர்களின் படைப்புகளாகும். ஆளாளுக்கு ஒவ்வொரு குறியீட்டு முறையைப் பயன்படுத்தி எழுதி வந்தார்கள். இதனால் இவர் எழுதுவது அவருக்கும் அவர் எழுதுவது இவருக்கும் புரியாத நிலை ஏற்பட்டது.  விளைவு? தமிழில் ஒருவர் எழுதியது இன்னொருவருக்கு கிரேக்கம் இலத்தீன் போலத் தெரிந்தன.
இதனைச் சீர்செய்யும் முயற்சியில், புனேயில் உள்ள சி-டாக் - C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) என்ற இந்திய அரசு நிறுவனம் பல்வேறு கணினி நிபுணர்கள், விற்பன்னர்களின் துணையுடன் இந்திய மொழிகள் அனைத்திற்கும் பொதுவாக இந்திய நியமக் குறியீட்டு முறை சுருக்கமாக 'இஸ்கி' - ISCII (Indian Standard Code for Information Interchange) என்ற குறியீட்டு முறையை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது.  இக்குறியீடு இந்திய மத்திய அரசு நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் மாவட்ட ஆட்சி மையங்களில் புகழ்பெற்ற அளவுக்கு பொதுமக்களிடம் போதுமான வரவேற்பைப் பெறாததால் தோல்வியடைந்தது. பெரும்பாலான இந்திய மொழிகளைத் தன்னுள் அடக்க வல்ல எளிதான ஒரு குறியீட்டு முறையை உருவாக்குவதில் 'இஸ்கி' ஓரளவுக்கு வெற்றி கண்டாலும் மக்கள் 'அஸ்கு புஸ்கு' என்று அதனை ஒதுக்கிவிட்டார்கள்.
பிறகு, ஆங்கிலம் போல் தமிழிலும் எல்லோரும் ஒரே குறியீட்டு முறையை பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணத்தில், சென்னையில் 1999-ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 7-8 தேதிகளில் நடைபெற்ற உலகத்தமிழ் இணைய மாநாட்டில் தமிழக அரசு இதற்கு தேவையான முயற்சிகளை மேற்கொண்டு சர்வதேச அங்கீகாரம் பெற்ற பொதுவான தமிழ் நியமக் குறியீட்டு முறை அல்லது 'திஸ்கி' (TSCII - Tamil Standard Code for Information Interchange) குறியீட்டு முறையை அறிவித்தது.
நல்லவேளை, நாம் பிழைத்தோம். தற்போது ஒருங்குறி (Unicode) சக்தி வாய்ந்த சர்வதேச குறியீட்டு முறையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டு, இந்திய மொழிகள்  மட்டுமல்லாமல், உலக மொழிகள் அனைத்தையும்  தன்னகத்தே  கொண்டு உலா வருகிறது!  (நம்ப முடியவில்லையா?  இந்தக் கட்டுரையை எந்த தமிழ் எழுத்துருவும் (Tamil Font) நிறுவப்படாத, ஒருங்குறி வசதியுள்ள கணிணியில்  போட்டுப் படித்துப்பாருங்கள்!!) ஒருங்குறி தமிழ்க்கணிமையின் வளர்ச்சிக்குப் பணியாற்றிய பல்வேறு ஆர்வலர்களின் பங்களிப்பையும் நினைவு கூரவேண்டியது நம் கடமை.
